Below is an email I received recently,

Dear Gordon Brown,
My longtime family friend, who is 80 years old, wrote you a letter after she was quite moved by your story, your fortitude and your exciting plans. She has no money and only addressed the letter to you at ‘Mattapoisett” followed by “To get his boat and take his friends on his dream come true”; so, of course, it was returned. She was disappointed, so I offered to contact you in this way. I believe that all the positive energy and prayers that come your way as a gift may help strengthen your resolve to make this adventurous journey, even though some well-wishers cannot afford to send money. From your lovely website that offers inspiration, and encourages and informs about a variety of healing alternatives, thus offering great hope for cancer survivors and their families, I surmise that you will definitely appreciate this woman’s sincere expression of good will. I would like to quote my friend’s letter for you:

Dear Mister Brown,
I read about your plan, and I hope it will be all you could dream of. All the best, and please know I will pray for your dream, and have a BLAST,
Sincerely,
Beverly XXXXX, South Yarmouth, MA 02664
I join her in sending along great hope and traveling mercies for your journey.
Best regards,
Alice XXXXX
Craigville, MA

It is really rewarding when I encounter someone who I have touched in some way, if you have a positive experience let me know and perhaps we can post it on this page.
